Hot Line Tees Off to Help Local Organization Inspire and Educate YouthNov 12, 2015
The 1st Annual Patriots Jet Team Foundation Golf Classic was held on June 15, 2015, at the Discovery Bay Golf & Country Club. Hot Line is proud to have been a top sponsor, along with Altec, at this event that raised over $86,000 for the Patriots Jet Team Foundation. The tournament included a ball launcher, dunk tank, live and silent auctions, and a ball drop from a Hot Line/Altec bucket truck, among many other activities.
The Patriots Jet Team Foundation (PJTF) is a local non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring youth to pursue careers in the aviation and aerospace fields. They hold both Introduction to Aviation and Private Pilot Ground Courses at the Patriots Jet Center, a 35,000-square-foot facility located at the Byron Airport. The organization is also heavily involved with STEM-related programs (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) at several local schools.
It’s events like the golf classic that help raise valuable funds to keep these programs up and running. Now the Patriots Jet Team Foundation has its sights set on an even larger goal—building a state-of-the-art Learning Mezzanine that will house 35 desks, computers and multiple simulators. It will allow the foundation to continue teaching future generations of pilots and aerospace professionals.
Hot Line is proud to support the Patriots Jet Team Foundation and several other local non-profit agencies. If you would like to know more or get involved, you can visit www.pjtf.org.
